As we design our stores and update our stores, Thorntons carefully considers opportunities to help our environment in an effort to
Think Green. Below are some of the ways we are helping:
- Fuels -- E85 and Biodiesel (see
Fuel Info)
- LED Canopy Lights -- selected BetaLED exterior luminaries for 13 properities,
and all future renovations
- LED Cooler Lights
– installed in all current remodels and
future renovations
- Recycling Dumpsters -- we help recycle by setting up 2 dumpsters on most of our premises, one allocated for "cardboard" and the other miscellaneous waste
- Eco-friendly Cleaning Products – used internally and externally
